Voluntary Work Camps

Voluntary work Camps take place in rural communities in Uganda with the main objective to empower the underprivileged youths or young people. Our Work Camps comfort the heart of the distressed and are one of the ways of giving back to the community through sharing your time, skills, knowledge, experiences and resources towards the betterment of welfare, social and economic development of the entire communities.

What You Can Do 

Voluntary work camps volunteers can engage in a wide variety of tasks including environmental, construction, renovation, counseling, sensitization, sanitation, hygiene, nutrition, health, development, social work and cultural emursion. Your trip to Africa will be a very enriching experience. We therefore welcome you to participate in our programs . 

Program Fees

Short Term Fees Start at :      $360 Per month.

  Mid Term Fees Start at:          $340 Per month. Long Term Fees start at: $320 Per month.

Our Programs

Volunteers can choose which programs they want to participate in including;

  • Vocation training and life skills
  • Safety campaigns
  • Women empowerment
  • Youth camps 
  • Visiting Schools
  • Home visits and counseling
  • HIV/AID’s counseling, guidance and sensitization
  • Working in health centers and hospitals
  • Teaching children
  • Education and awareness campaigns in HIV/AID’s, Sanitation, Hygiene and Nutrition
  • Training soccer skills
  • Community outreach and health education
  • Assisting local medical clinics

Volunteers will work hand in hand with the youths of community in all the activities  can also assist local teachers in classes like teaching very basic conversation in English, helping teacher in giving training on physical activities of the disabled youth like making simple handicrafts, playing, doing simple sport etc . 



Program Requirements

Volunteers for work camps program :

·      Should be 17 years and above

·      Should be able to speak English, other languages are an added advantage

·      Have no major health problems

·      May be female or male

·      Should have no physical disability

·      Should be able to walk distances of up to 2 km daily where necessary

·       have a positive and outgoing personality and mind

·      Be ready to respect local cultures, learn from them and teach his/her own cultures
